Meet Our Executive Team
Andy Graham, P.E.
President
Andy joined Modern in 2002 as a project manager and became president in May, 2018. He started his HVAC career in 1991 as an applications engineer with McQuay. Before joining Modern, he has worked at other mechanical contracting firms in the Twin Cities area specializing in the tenant improvement and the retrofit/replacement market. Andy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Minnesota State University at Mankato and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Minnesota.
Chad Good
Vice President
Chad joined Modern in 2008 as a project manager and became Vice President in May of 2018. Starting in the HVAC industry in 2005 he worked in CAD design, drafting and assisting in project management. A majority of his project experience has been focused on tenant improvement work in downtown Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs. Chad first received his AAS degree in Architecture and Mechanical design from Dunwoody College of Technology and returned for a BA in Business Management from Bethel University.
Kevin Mackie
Controller
Kevin Mackie joined Modern in April of 2012 to help get new software up and running and to improve accounting procedures. He took over as Controller in 2014. After graduating from Northwestern College in Iowa, Kevin spent 2 years at a private CPA firm, then moved to his first job in the construction industry. Kevin has spent over 20 years with 3 different construction contractors in a variety of positions. He also has 10 years of experience in various finance positions in the manufacturing, medical, and service industries.
Rob Odell
GM of Service
Rob Odell joined Modern in 2009 as a Service Sales Representative and became General Manager of Service in 2018. He started his HVAC career in 1982 in operations side of the industry, then began his sales career in 1989. Before joining Modern he worked at several other mechanical contracting firms in the Twin Cities area specializing in commercial HVAC service. Rob attended the University of Minnesota – Duluth with an emphasis in Business Administration & Communications.
