Matt Joyce

Matt Joyce joined Modern in February 2020 as a service representative, advanced to service sales manager in 2023, and became Director of Service Sales in 2025. 

He entered the trade through the field—completing the Pipefitters Local 539 apprenticeship and working as a journeyman pipefitter—before moving into service sales and sales leadership. With a strong technical foundation, Matt specializes in commercial HVAC service and maintenance sales and leads with a people-first, systems-minded approach focused on practical, cost-effective solutions.
